Collection field recordings Pol Heyns online

In 1935-1939 the radio reporter Pol Heyns recorded songs from old Flemish singers, such as Louis van Mensel, a farmer from Herentals, and fiddler Louis Doms from Achtel. These songs are the earliest recorded in Dutch. They make a splendid addition to the field recordings made by Ate Doornbosch for his famous radio program “Under the green linden” (Onder de Groene Linde).
