Biografie
Douwe Zeldenrust is Manager Collecties en Senior Research Data Manager bij de afdeling Digitaal Databeheer van het Huygens Instituut en verricht ook werkzaamheden voor het Meertens Instituut. Hij is verantwoordelijk voor collectie- en datamanagement van het Meertens Instituut en houdt zich bezig met aansturen van teams van datacuratoren, het adviseren en implementeren van het beleid en het toepassen van nieuwe methoden en technieken voor het verwerken en het beschikbaar stellen van digitale gegevens. Ook schrijft hij mee aan onderzoeksvoorstellen (met name de datamanagementsectie). Zeldenrust studeerde Geschiedenis aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam en Informatie- en Documentmanagement aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam. Momenteel werkt hij aan een dissertatie over de collecties van het Meertens Instituut.
