Biografie

Peter Jan Margry is etnoloog en historicus. Hij studeerde geschiedenis aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam, en promoveerde in 2000 aan de Universiteit van Tilburg. Hij werkte als senior onderzoeker en afdelingshoofd Etnologie aan het Meertens Instituut op het terrein van religieuze cultuur, ritualiteit, cultureel geheugen, alternatieve geneeswijzen, en immaterieel erfgoed.
