Marie Skłodowska-Curie Post-doc Positions: “Expression of Interest” for hosting fellows

The Meertens Institute invites postdoc fellows to apply together for postdoc funding in the context of the Marie Skłodowska Curie Individual fellowship scheme for EF (European Fellows).
The Meertens Institute, established in 1926, has been a research institute of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences since 1952. We study the diversity in language and culture in the Netherlands. Research in the Meertens Institute is organised in two main research lines, ethnology and variationist linguistics, and is the home for special topics such as language culture, oral culture (songs and tales), body, food and wellbeing, and computational modeling of cultural transmission.

The institute co-operates with the Huygens ING (Dutch history, literature, and history of science) and the International Institute for Social History in the KNAW Humanities Cluster. The three institutes share facilities, and have a shared Digital Infrastructure group and a Digital Humanities Lab.

The Meertens Institute will offer support during the application procedure to candidates who would like to spend their Marie S. Curie fellowship at the Meertens Institute. In case of funding through the EU, the postdoc fellow will become employed at the Meertens Institute for the duration of the project; receiving training and potential opportunities for further continuation of their international scientific career.
